My years of experience as a teacher have shaped a teaching philosophy that guides how I help my students succeed in the classroom musically and technically. I truly believe music can play a big role in students' success by exploring so many skills for communication, listening, memorization, precision, patience, and organization. I believe in the importance of having a foundation in classical technique by exploring and developing motor skills & reflexes, physical coordination and posturing, discipline & focus, analytical skills, and so on.

My teaching approach is interactive, using a combination of engaging activities and demonstrations to help students apply the concepts taught. My teaching style is encouraging and patient, and I am committed to creating a positive and nurturing learning environment for my students. I believe that every student has the potential to learn to play the cello and I am committed to helping students strengthen their confidence and explore their creativity.
